As the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Istanbul Technical University, we were delighted to come together with our alumni, academic staff, administrative staff, and their families as part of the 253rd Anniversary ITU Day celebrations.
During the program, certificates were presented to our alumni celebrating the 20th and 30th anniversaries of their graduation. Together, we celebrated our strong ties, long-standing traditions, and professional solidarity that connect our past to our future.
As part of the event, nostalgic lectures were delivered by Prof. Dr. Muammer Kalyon for the Departments of Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering, and by Prof. Dr. Süreyya Öney for the Department of Meteorological Engineering. These special lectures took our alumni back to their student years while providing an opportunity to revisit the academic heritage and accumulated knowledge of our faculty.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Asst. Prof. Dr. Haluk Kul for his speech on behalf of our alumni. We thank all our alumni, academic staff, administrative staff, and their families for their participation and valuable contributions to this memorable event.
