Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics aims to inspire the next generation of aviation leaders and shape the future of flight by revolutionizing aviation education and research, covering topics from unmanned aerial and space vehicles to commercial aircraft, and meteorology and cosmology.

Our Aeronautical Engineering, Meteorological Engineering and Astronautical Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

NASA-Supported AIAA Space Design Competition: ITUVERSE Team Takes 3rd Place

ITUVERSE Team, which was established within the scope of the ‘Spacecraft Systems Design’ course given by Prof. Dr. Alim Rüstem ASLAN, a faculty member of the Department of Astronautical Engineering, succeeded in ranking 3rd (third) worldwide in the 2023-2024 AIAA Undergraduate Team Space Design Competition organised by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), supported by NASA.

ITUVERSE Team, which was established within the scope of the ‘Spacecraft Systems Design’ course given by Prof. Dr. Alim Rüstem ASLAN, a faculty member of the Department of Astronautical Engineering, succeeded in ranking 3rd (third) worldwide in the 2023-2024 AIAA Undergraduate Team Space Design Competition organised by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), supported by NASA.

With the Human Enabled Venus Robotic Exploration Mission ITUVERSE mission, our team aims to provide information about the planet's formation, climate dynamics and potential signs of life by robotically exploring the unexplored Maxwell Montes mountains of Venus.
