ITUNOM UAV Team Became World Champion in SUAS Competition

Since 2002, the world's most prestigious UAV competition, SUAS, hosted over 45 international teams on June 20, 2023, at St. Mary's County Regional Airport in California, Maryland, United States.
Since 2002, the world's most prestigious UAV competition, SUAS, hosted over 45 international teams on June 20, 2023, at St. Mary's County Regional Airport in California, Maryland, United States. In this renowned global event, both university and high school student teams had the opportunity to showcase their skills in the field of autonomous aerial systems.

Teams were evaluated by a jury consisting of industry experts, researchers, and educators with extensive experience in robotics, computer vision, and aerospace engineering. Evaluation criteria included technical design, system integration, and overall performance.

Having achieved success in various competitions in previous years, our ITUNOM UAV Team secured the championship title in the 2023 SUAS competition with outstanding performance.

 We congratulate our team and wish them continued success.
