Brief Resume


Dr. Yuceil was born in Zonguldak, Turkey on July 13, 1966. He completed his pre-college education in Istanbul. He enrolled in ITU Aeronautical Engineering program in 1983 and graduated in 1987. He completed his M.Sc. degree in 1989. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1995. He joined our department in 1988 as a research assistant and became an assistant professor in 1998. Dr. Yuceil spent three years as a visiting assistant professor in the Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin on sabbatical leave between 2006 and 2009. He is married and a father of one. He is a senior member of AIAA.
